The Bridge is housed in a stately nineteenth century building, with Art Nouveau details on the facade. The building is easy to recognize, because this Bed and Breakfast is the only pink building in the street. There are twelve rooms, all different in size and design. All rooms have a bathroom, an electric kettle, satellite TV and WiFi. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but when you book a special offer it is usually without breakfast

The Bridge is not in the centre of Prague. This means that you do not pay top prices as you do in hotels near Wenceslas Square or in the Old Town.Bed and Breakfast the Bridge is within walking distance of the Dancing House, the National Theater and the shopping street Narodni Trida and Na Prikope. A ten minute walk in the other direction takes you to the Novy Smichov shopping centre, a mecca for shopaholics. During the Christmas period, one of the Christmas markets is held in front of the shopping mall. Beer lovers should make a bee line for the Staropramen brewery, also in the Smichov district. The tour ends with a beer tasting.

Bed and Breakfast the Bridge is located in the Smichov district, formerly a working-class neighborhood. Now more and more buildings are being renovated and it is a popular district to live in because rental prices are not as high as in other parts of Prague. If you like delis, visit the Italian food hall, which doubles as restaurant with Italian specialties, Strakonická 1 or Azbuka Chuti, Stefanikova 25, specializing in Russian products.

The nearest metro station is Andel and the Zborovska tram stop is less than a five-minute walk away.
