Selfie Market Museum: Best Selfie Hotspot in Prague
Best selfie hotspot in Prague is the Selfie Market with more than fifty interactive background units for that one unique photo opportunity. Create your own story, put yourself in the spotlight, take a selfie and share your creation with the world. Prague has many selfie spots all over the city. Perfect backgrounds are the astronomical clock, the Castle, the John Lennon wall or the Vltava River. So you may wonder what the Selfie Market can add to the perfect Prague scenes for a selfie. The selfie market is much more than a beautiful background for your photo, it is an experience!
What is the Selfie Market?
Selfie Market is an interactive exhibition and entertainment centre. The aim is to take as many selfies as possible with as many different backgrounds. This is no problem, as there are about 700 interactive landscapes, buildings and other backgrounds to select from. Choose the one that suits you best, take as many selfies as you like and post them on Instagram, Facebook or just send them to your friends and your grandmother. There is also a small cafe overlooking Wenceslas Square.
Selfie Market: Creativity and Fun
With a little help from Selfie Market, all your creative ideas can come true. If you are not a very creative person, you will find inspiration in the interactive backgrounds. Czech artists, street artists and set designers have created scenes that reflect pop culture, fashion, life-style, nature and sports. Travel through space, to exotic places, be part of your favourite movies, place yourself in a still life or promote your preferred brand. Everything is possible because you are part of the exhibition yourself. Capture unique, funny, embarrassing and painful moments on your mobile phone and share on social networks. Make sure your phone is fully charged. It would be a shame if you had to drop out halfway because of a dead battery.
A Gap in the Market
Selfie Market is an initiative of Jakub Bechyne who also owns the Illusion Art Museum on Old Town Square in Prague. He saw a gap in the market. Although Prague has a lot to offer in terms of culture, art and history, there is little entertainment in the form of interaction between art and culture in which the visitor can actively participate or be a part of. The exhibition not only includes the works of well-known street artists, sculptors and film set designers, it is also unique in that the visitor is the centre of attention and action. The Selfie Market team provides professional advice on how to take the best selfie and how to take the best profile pictures to post on social networks.
