Cafe Mozart opposite the Astronomical Clock
Location, location, location, Cafe Mozart has it in spades! Right in the heart of Prague, opposite the Astronomical Clock. Add to this delicious breakfast dishes, fragrant coffee, ice cream and homemade pastries, all perfect reasons to climb the stairs to the first floor of Cafe Mozart. Another reason is the exhibition of Meissen porcelain.
Cafe Mozart and WiFi
Cafe Mozart combines ‘the old world’ with present-day WiFi. The dark wooden tables are laid with damask tablecloths; sparkling crystal glasses and silverware complete the chic experience. Traditional hospitality and style are very much present.
Mozart Mood
The coffee menu puts you right in the Mozart mood: Coffee Don Giovanni, Papagena, Figaro, Te Deum, Menuet and many more. The choice is difficult: cappuccino with amarena or just filtered coffee and many more varieties of which the names will ring in your ears. Café Mozart is one of these places for coffee in Prague and deserves a second and a third visit.
Cafe Mozart and Mozart Dinner
Come back in the evening, not for a regular meal, but to enjoy the Dinner and Mozart Night or the Dinner and Jazz Night. Classical concerts performed by the Mozart quartet, each member dressed in period costume. During jazz nights the saxophone and the grand piano play the central part. These special occasions combine live concerts with a delicious meal and a glass of sparkling wine as a welcome drink. The menu features Czech and Austrian dishes and are served during the concert. Tickets for the musical evenings must be bought in advance.
Astronomical Clock
The main selling point of Café Mozart is the stunning view of the Astronomical Clock on Old Town Square: you have a private view of the twelve apostles rotating inside the clock on the hour.
