Story of Prague Interactive Museum and Augmented Reality

The Story of Prague is an interactive museum about the history of Prague. It is a combination of augmented reality and authentic stories told through film and audio fragments. The Story of Prague is not a boring summary of historical facts because you yourself play an active role in the events and the stories.

What to see in the Museum Story of Prague

The aim of the Museum Story of Prague is to highlight the most interesting milestones in Prague’s history and to present them in an entertaining way.

On the first floor, you will go back to the time of knights and kings, the warlord Jan Žižka and the Hussites, medieval torture, the construction of the Old Town Hall and the astronomical clock.

On the second floor, you experience the Nazi occupation and you are present when Prague was bombed. During the Soviet occupation eavesdropping (by the regime) was part of daily life and dissenters were rigorously interrogated.

On the third floor, the euphoria of the Velvet Revolution is clearly felt. In the film room you will get tips about sights in today’s Prague presented by Jan and Honza, the driving forces behind the Honest Guide (also available on YouTube).

Furthermore, there are hidden rooms in the museum to discover. Interactive photo points tell you where to stand to take the best photos. You can also try out video games from the 1990s.
