Chapeau Rouge

Chapeau Rouge, close to Old Town Square in Prague, is a bar and club with a variety of rooms at different levels where you can listen to gigs, get to the dance floor and enjoy a beer or two (or more). This venue has three floors, four bars and three stages and is always full of enthusiastic music lovers and beer drinkers. This club draws alternative independent bands from all over the world.

Be sure to spend at least one evening at Chapeau Rouge. This pub spins its tunes from dusk to dawn, so whether you are in for serious clubbing or just a late night drink and a quick dance, this is a good night out.

Their live underground venue is quite small but with perfect sound and excellent beer, but take it easy on the absinthe. This pub is the perfect place to hang-out and to listen to a music gig. You usually pay a 100 Kc entry fee, great value for money as there are usually several bands. End your night out in dance club upstairs and dance to hip-hop until early morning. This is the best venue to see and listen to a live band and the best place to hang out and meet locals.
