Arkady Pankrac Shopping and Jellyfish Watching
Best shopping experience in Prague is a visit to one of many shopping malls. If you want to mix with the locals go to one in the suburbs. If you are a true shopaholic you have thirty shopping malls to satisfy you. True to say, the shopping experience is the same in all the malls as you will find the same shops in all of them. However, they distinguish themselves by the ‘extras’.

Why go shopping at Arkady Pankrác
Because this shopping mall is never overcrowded! It is open all week from 09.00 to 21.00, meaning no last minute shopping by throngs of shoppers. Visitors are naturally distributed over the shopping hours and shopping days meaning it is never crowded.
Shop where the locals shop
Arkady Pankrác is located in the residential area of the Pankrác district and is a perfect place for shopping without tourists. With 125 shops, it is one of the larger shopping centres in Prague. Here you will find fashion shops, boutiques with perfumes and jewelry, flower shops, bookstores, electronics and sports stores and lots of mobile telephony.

Fashion Boutiques
International brands are well represented; Calvin Klein, Esprit, Mango, Pierre Cardin and many more. HalfPrice is perfect for branded fashion at a low price. Humanic and Bata for shoes and Blazek for mens fashion are favourites for many.
Food Court
The Food Court in Arkady Pankrác pleases everyone: fast food, coffee corners and restaurants. Coffee lovers go to Starbucks for the biggest cups of coffee, Oxo is for bubble tea lovers and Indian food enthusiasts go to Bombay Express. Fast food fans will be happy to see KFC and McDonalds.
And even if you don’t need anything, just drop by the Albert hypermarket, so gigantic that you won’t know where to start.
Jellyfish House
On the top floor is the jellyfish house with 38 aquariums with 10,000 jellyfish in all sizes and colours. It is as if you are under water observing the sea creatures. This is strengthened by 3D screening and audio-visual effects.

V-Tower
Arkady Pankrác is surrounded by a modern business centre, a pleasure for the eye of architect enthusiast. The most remarkable building is the V-tower, a residential block of flats with 130 apartments formed by two leaning towers.
With a height of 104 metres, V Tower is the tallest apartment building in the Czech Republic.

The Red Giraffe
This 10-meter high bronze statue is a very special giraffe. For starters, it’s bright red, the neck and body look somewhat like a real giraffe, but the head is all fantasy. It looks like a shower head or round dishwashing brush. You will find the red giraffe is next to the Avast building, Pikrtova street opposite Arkady Pankrác.
