Palladium Shopping Centre
Palladium is the largest shopping mall in the centre of Prague: 200 shops and 20 restaurants. Add to this an Albert supermarket and a gigantic bookshop plus the Easter Market and Christmas Market in Republiky Square in front of the Palladium Shopping Centre, the result is many hours of joy for shopaholics. Palladium is one of the most beautiful shopping centres in Prague. Located right above Namesti republy metro station, this shopping Walhalla offers a choice of international chain stores. There are also exclusive shops and boutiques so that there is something for everyone. Palladium is housed in a historic building that immediately stands out because of the deep pink exterior walls that incorporate modern and historic elements.
Palladium Shopping Centre
Five floors brimming with shops and a fast lane from the ground floor to the fifth floor where you’ll find the food court. Modern from the outside, the inside of the Palladium Mall has a surprise in store. The building used to be an army barracks, dilapidated and neglected until some ten years ago when Palladium Shopping Centre opened its doors. Part of the old building is incorporated in the new building and gives it a special charm.
Palladium is home to international chain stores including Marks & Spencer, H&M, Body Shop, Calvin Klein, Esprit, Euronics electricals, Guess, Lush, Orsay, Promod and other well-known and lesser-known brands.
The Food Court is on the fifth floor which is known as the gourmet floor.
* El Emir, the small brother to El Emir in Koruna Passage (Wenceslas Square) but with the same Middle-Eastern tantalizing food. Although lamb is their specialty, their sandwiches and wraps are equally tasty.
* La Piazzetta Pizzas, pasta and all other goodies from Italian cuisine.
* Makakiko for Thai, Japanese and Chinese meals, probably quite a change after the schnitzels and sausages of the Czech cuisine.
* Vytopna Railway Restaurant where your food is delivered by a miniature trains running around the restaurant. Czech and international dishes and lots of beer.
