Na Prikope – Best Shopping Street in Prague
Na Prikope and 28 Rijna streets are two pedestrian-only streets in the centre of Prague. These two streets form one wide boulevard and are home to familiar and less familiar shops, small boutiques and chain stores. Shopping in Prague is an entirely new experience. Although you will find here many similar stores as in famous shopping cities like London and Paris, the Prague stores are always less crowded and often more affordable than their counterparts in other European cities.
Na Prikope is a shopping street full of surprises: hidden behind Baroque facades you will find unexpected upmarket shopping malls: Koruna, Černá Růže, and Slovanský Dům. A true eye catcher is all glass-and-steel Myslbek shopping centre with thirty shops and difficult to resist. Its modern architecture blends perfectly with the traditional neigbouring buildings.
National and International Brands
Na Prikope and 28 Rijna are very likely to be the busiest shopping streets in Prague. Be sure to look up at the Baroque and Art Nouveau facades. You will find stores like Adidas (No 12), Mango (No 8), Bersha (No 5), Calvin Klein (no 19), Benetton (No 4), H&M (in Myslbek Shopping Centre). Hamleys (No 14) is the largest toy shop in Prague but small compared to Hamleys in London.
Coffee with Apple Strudel
When your shopping is done and your wallet is almost empty, rest your weary feet and drink Pilsner Urquell or have a coffee with apple strudel in one of the many cafés that line Na Prikope and 28 Rijna streets. When you are finished shopping, you can try your luck at Casino Palas Saverin or go back in time in the Communism Museum.
